These oils naturally contain: ALA (alpha-linolenic acid, an omega 3), Linoleic acids (an omega 6), GLA (gamma-linolenic acid, and omega 6), oleic acids (and omega 9), pamitic acid, and stearic acid. They have anti-oxidant properties and are known to lessen inflammation, facilitate wound healing, soothe acne, promote moisture retention in both hair and skin, slow the look of aging by sustaining skin elasticity and softness reducing the appearance of premature wrinkles and fine lines, nourish the skin with essential fatty acids, support the growth of healthier and stronger skin, hair, and nails, and soften hair and skin. The even have exceptional cleansing properties that eliminate dirt, sweat, and excess sebum from hair and skin.  Meadowfoam seed oil also contains the glucosinolate derivatives, 3-methoxybenzyl isothiocyanate (MBITC) and 3-methoxyphenyl acetonitrile, which have been demonstrated in controlled laboratory studies to inhibit the enzymes that degrade collagen in the skin and to help offset the impact of UVB light exposure. It also has the highest concentration of the long-chain fatty acids Docosenoic acid and Docosadienoic acid.  Camelina oil also naturally contains vitamin E (gamma-tocopherol).  Abyssinian oil also contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C and E

Expiration/Best By Date - each bottle comes with an expiration date printed on the label.  This is the first date that one of the oils might expire.  Because of the anti-oxidant properties of the oils, as well as the vitamin E from the camelina and abyssinian oil, your oil blend may last longer.  Keep it in a cool location, like inside your home.  The dark colored glass jar will also help keep it from oxidizing early.  If the smell of your oil changes as the expiration date gets closer, or any time after that date, that is a sign it is going rancid an it is best to toss any remaining oil.
