Shipping
Shipping is now calculated at checkout based on your location and package size.
Why don’t you offer free shipping anymore? USPS has raised their shipping rates again and again, and for years we’ve either absorbed those increases or raised our prices—even when our actual product costs stayed the same. Switching to calculated shipping allows us to keep our prices stable while giving you full transparency. You’ll now only pay what it actually costs to ship your order, based on your location and what you’re buying.
We ship using the method with the best rates, and sometimes that means using padded flat rate envelopes that are plastic based. If you would rather us use compostable packaging please include a note with your order and we will calculate the additional shipping charge to do so, and get back to you.
Wrong address if your order has the wrong shipping address, we are happy to reship your order when you cover the cost of shipping, otherwise your order will be refunded minus the shipping cost after we receive the package back.
Lost packages Please go straight to your post office and ask for the GPS coordinates of the delivery scan by providing them with the tracking number. Often times this is all that is needed to find your package! Please forward us the GPS coordinates or other reply from the post office, and we will be happy to help with your Navidium claim.
Optional Shipping Protection We offer Navidium Shipping Protection on U.S. orders to give you extra peace of mind. It is optional, but when added at checkout your order is covered against loss, theft, or damage in transit. If your package is reported lost or stolen, we require delivery details (such as GPS scan information) and, when appropriate, additional documentation like a police report or carrier investigation before a claim can be approved. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us right away with clear photos of the packaging and product. Once the required information is received, Island Deodorant will reship your order, and in some cases may require a more secure delivery address. Please note that Navidium Shipping Protection is non-refundable and applies only to packages shipped within the U.S.
United States
Shipping rates are now calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. This lets us offer lower product prices while still giving you flexibility in how your order ships.
-Smaller orders usually ship via USPS Ground Advantage (1–5 business days, not guaranteed).
-Larger bundles typically ship via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate (1–3 business days, not guaranteed).
-Occasionally we may choose to ship your package via UPS
-You can also pick shipping via UPS at checkout
Canada & International
Due to quite a few lost packages and really long shipping delays with USPS, we are now only offering UPS & DHL for International shipping.
Shipping charges are based on weight, and the rate will show at checkout. Please note, shipping charges are not refundable.
International orders please be aware that customs fees are normal. Each destination country charges customs and administrative fees on shipments of items that are subject to tax and those fees are the responsibility of the recipient. It's probably a good idea to contact your local customs office for specifics on what the fees and charges are so you'll know what additional cost you could possibly be incurring on your international orders.
International customers are solely responsible for knowing and complying with their country’s import regulations. Please note that Island Deodorant cannot provide refunds or reshipments for orders refused by customs or carriers due to import restrictions. Before placing an international order, we recommend verifying that the products you wish to purchase are allowed in your country.
DHL: In the event of a lost or damaged shipment you need to let us know within 28 days of your package shipping form us - we have to file a claim with DHL within 30 days.
UPS: In the event of a late package, we need to file a claim within 15 calendar days of expected delivery (please give us a couple of days notice). In the event of a lost or damaged shipment you need to let us know within 58 days of your package shipping form us - we have to file a claim with UPS within 60 days.
