Helpful Tips

• Because this deodorant is made with natural butters and oils, it will soften in warm temperatures and firm up in cooler ones. This is normal.

• If your deodorant cream looks grainy or has little balls of shea butter, that’s a normal response to temperature changes (often from shipping). It’s perfectly fine to use as-is — warming it in your hands will smooth it out as you apply. If you prefer a smoother texture, gently remelt it, stir well, and refrigerate briefly to cool quickly.

• Unrefined shea butter is traditionally processed over open fires, which gives it a naturally smoky scent. The strength of this scent varies from batch to batch and is completely normal.

Switching from conventional antiperspirant? You may experience temporary odor or staining while your body adjusts. This detox period is common and usually resolves within a few weeks.

Note: Our natural deodorants may soften in warmer temperatures and harden in cooler ones. This does not affect performance.

FAQs

Does the Extra Strength Sensitive cream work as well as the stick?
Yes. The cream and stick use the same formula — the only difference is the texture.

Why is my cream grainy?
Graininess happens when shea butter cools slowly during temperature changes. It’s normal and safe to use, and will melt into your skin as you apply. You can also gently remelt and stir it if you prefer a smoother texture.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. This formula is designed for people who need low baking soda and contains no aluminum and no added fragrance.

Will I smell more when switching from antiperspirant?
Possibly. Detox is common and temporary as your sweat glands adjust. Odor typically normalizes within a few weeks.
