Helpful Tips

– This deodorant goes on white due to the zinc oxide. Rub it in thoroughly to avoid transfer. If you are not sensitive to baking soda, our Original formula goes on clear and works better for most people.

– Made with natural butters and oils — it will soften in warm weather and firm in cool weather. This is normal.

– If your deodorant becomes grainy or develops tiny shea butter “beads,” it is still perfectly fine to use. Your skin will melt the grains on contact. To smooth the texture, gently remelt, stir well, and cool quickly in the refrigerator.

– Unrefined shea butter is traditionally processed over open fires, which gives it a naturally smoky scent. The intensity varies by batch and is completely normal.

– If switching from conventional antiperspirant, expect a short detox period. Temporary odor increases are normal.
