“Custom deodorant” can mean a few different things in private label manufacturing. Most brands start with a proven base formula, then customize the parts customers see and experience—like scent, packaging, and branding.

Depending on your goals, customization can include:

Formula Options for Private Label Deodorant

Many new brands launch fastest by choosing a proven base formula and focusing their energy on branding, packaging, and marketing. If your goal is a deodorant that performs well and aligns with common “clean” standards, this route is usually the most efficient.

Our most popular formula features organic coconut oil, aluminum-free baking soda, organic cornstarch, jojoba oil, and probiotics. It goes on clear and keeps most people odor-free all day.

If you already have a wax/oil-based deodorant formula and you supply all ingredients, we can also manufacture and fill your formula (see the packaging section below).

Packaging Options for Private Label Deodorant

Packaging choices affect cost, lead time, label planning, and the overall feel of your product. Below are the three most common paths brands choose.

Option 1: Our Formula in Containers We Provide

This is the most streamlined option for most new brands. We offer bottom-filled, twist-up plastic tubes in white, black, or clear, with matte or glossy finishes. Options include virgin or post-consumer recycled plastic. You provide and apply your own labels (or we can apply them for an additional fee).

For larger orders, some brands choose custom screen-printed containers to reduce labeling labor and create a more finished look. If that becomes relevant for you, we can connect you with a supplier.

Option 2: Our Formula in Containers You Provide

If you already have packaging in mind, you’re welcome to send compatible plastic or paperboard containers for us to fill. We can also share supplier recommendations if you’re sourcing containers yourself.

Option 3: Your Formula in Containers You Provide

If you have your own wax/oil-based deodorant formula, supply all ingredients and containers, and want a manufacturer to produce and fill it, we can do that.

Please note: We only manufacture oil- and wax-based deodorants. Water-based formulas are not compatible with our equipment.

Customization Options for Your Deodorant Brand

If you want to go beyond an off-the-shelf private label product, these are the two most common customization routes.

Modify the Formula

Ingredient swaps, removals, or additions are available and billed hourly. Test batches are provided before any full production run. You can read more about the process here.

Add a Scent

To scent your deodorant, you’ll send us a 2 oz bottle of your fragrance oil or essential oil. We typically test at 3%, 4%, and 5% concentration unless you request something different.

Each scent requires its own production batch. Once fragrance is added, the batch cannot be split.

Lead Times & Payment

• Containers we supply: 7–9 weeks from deposit
• Your containers: 3–6 weeks from deposit
• Custom samples: 1–3 weeks

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to schedule production. The balance is due before shipping.

Payment note: We do not accept PayPal or credit cards for private label orders.

International Orders

International customers are welcome, but you are solely responsible for confirming your country’s import rules, labeling requirements, and documentation requirements. We cannot guarantee compliance with non-U.S. regulations.

Labeling & Design

You are responsible for your own artwork and design files. Labels can be applied by you to save cost, or applied by us for an additional fee. We provide label specs and printer recommendations.
