Helpful Tips

Application tip: This deodorant goes on white due to the zinc oxide. Be sure to rub it in thoroughly to avoid transfer to clothing. If you are not sensitive to baking soda, our Original deodorant goes on clear and provides stronger odor protection for most people.

*Important note about compostable containers:
Because these tubes are made from paperboard rather than plastic molds, they don’t always behave exactly the same from unit to unit. Some tubes may feel harder to push up, while others may slide more easily or push back down during application. Temperature also plays a role — cooler environments can make the deodorant firmer, while warmer temperatures soften it. This variability is part of choosing compostable packaging over plastic.

Are you new to natural deodorant? When switching from conventional deodorant or antiperspirant, your armpits may go through a detox period. This can include temporary odor or staining on clothing while your body adjusts. This phase is normal and usually passes within a few weeks.

Note: Natural oils and waxes soften in warm temperatures and harden in cooler ones. This is completely normal and does not affect performance.

FAQs

Is this deodorant aluminum free?
Yes. Our Extra Strength Sensitive deodorant is aluminum free and also free from parabens, BPA, alcohol, and synthetic fragrance.

Will this work if I’m sensitive to baking soda?
It contains only about one-third the baking soda of our Original formula, which many sensitive customers tolerate well. If you cannot tolerate baking soda at all, we recommend our Sensitive (baking soda–free) formula instead.

Will this go on clear?
No. It goes on white due to the non-nano zinc oxide. Rubbing it in well helps prevent transfer to clothing.
