This no-wax version of our Sensitive deodorant is soft, creamy, and easy to apply once transferred into your own container. It’s designed for customers who can’t tolerate baking soda and is perfect for mixing in your favorite essential oils.

This wax-free deodorant will melt during warm shipping. If the texture changes, see the notes below on how to easily smooth it out.

Is Sensitive right for you?
This formula is best for those who cannot tolerate baking soda. Because it’s baking soda free, it does not provide the same level of odor protection as our Original formula. If you need stronger odor control and don’t have sensitivity to baking soda, we recommend our Original deodorant.

Helpful Tips

• This deodorant goes on white due to the zinc oxide. Rub it in thoroughly to avoid transfer. If you are not sensitive to baking soda, our Original formula goes on clear and works better for most people.

• If your deodorant cream looks grainy or has little balls of shea butter, that’s a normal response to temperature changes (often from shipping). It’s perfectly fine to use as-is — warming it against your skin will smooth it out. If you prefer a smoother texture, gently remelt it, stir well, and refrigerate briefly to cool quickly.

• Unrefined shea butter is traditionally processed over open fires, which gives it a naturally smoky scent. The strength of this scent varies from batch to batch and is completely normal.

Are you new to natural deodorant? If you’re switching from conventional deodorant or antiperspirant, your body may go through a short adjustment period as it adapts to aluminum-free deodorant. Many people notice no issues at all, while others may experience temporary changes in odor. This adjustment phase looks different for everyone and usually resolves on its own.

Note: Because this deodorant is made with natural oils and butters, it can soften in warmer temperatures and firm up in cooler ones. This is completely normal and doesn’t affect how well it works.

Does the refill work the same as the jar?
Yes. This is the same Sensitive Cream formula — the difference is simply the packaging. The refill is intended to be transferred into your preferred container for use.

Is this deodorant effective?
Many people do very well with this formula. However, because it is baking soda free, it does not provide the same level of odor protection as our Original formula. If you need stronger odor control and aren’t sensitive to baking soda, we recommend the Original formula instead.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. This formula was specifically designed for people who cannot tolerate baking soda. It contains no aluminum, no added fragrance, and no common irritants.

Why is my cream grainy?
Graininess can occur when the shea butter cools slowly due to temperature changes, often during shipping. It’s normal and perfectly safe to use. The texture will smooth out as it warms against your skin, or you can gently remelt and stir it if you prefer.

Is it normal to smell more when switching from antiperspirant?
Yes. When switching from antiperspirant, your body may go through a short adjustment period where odor temporarily increases. This is normal and typically resolves within a few weeks.
