Helpful Tips

• Because this deodorant is made with natural oils and butters, it can soften in warmer temperatures and firm up in cooler ones. This is completely normal and doesn’t affect how well it works.

• If your deodorant cream looks grainy or has little balls of shea butter, that’s a normal response to temperature changes (often from shipping). It’s perfectly fine to use as-is — just rub it between your hands or apply it to warm skin and the texture will smooth out. If you prefer a smoother texture, you can gently remelt it, stir well, and refrigerate to cool quickly.

• Unrefined shea butter is traditionally processed over open fires, which gives it a naturally smoky scent. The strength of this scent varies from batch to batch and is a normal characteristic of unrefined shea.

Are you new to natural deodorant? If you’re switching from conventional deodorant or antiperspirant, your body may go through a short adjustment period as it adapts to aluminum-free deodorant. Some people notice no issues at all, while others may experience temporary changes in odor as their body chemistry balances out. This adjustment phase looks different for everyone and usually resolves on its own.

Does this deodorant contain aluminum?
No — our Original Cream formula is 100% aluminum-free and uses natural baking soda and probiotics for odor control.

Is it safe for kids and teens?
Yes. Our simple, organic ingredients make it suitable for the whole family. If someone is sensitive to baking soda, we recommend our Sensitive formula instead.

Does the refill work the same as the jar?
Yes. This is the same Original Cream formula — the difference is simply the packaging. The refill is intended to be transferred into your preferred container for use.

Why is my cream grainy?
Graininess can occur when the shea butter cools slowly due to temperature changes, often during shipping. It’s normal and perfectly safe to use. The texture will smooth out as it warms against your skin, or you can gently remelt and stir it if you prefer.

Is it normal to smell more when switching from antiperspirant?
Yes. When switching from antiperspirant, your body may go through a short adjustment period where odor temporarily increases. This is normal and typically resolves within a few weeks.
