This no-wax version of our Extra Strength Sensitive deodorant is soft, creamy, and easy to apply once transferred into your own container. It’s designed for those who need more odor control than Sensitive, but still can’t tolerate full-strength baking soda. It’s also perfect for mixing with your favorite essential oils.

This wax-free deodorant will melt during warm shipping. If the texture changes, see the notes below on how to easily smooth it out.

Helpful Tips

• This deodorant goes on white due to the zinc oxide. Rub it in thoroughly to avoid transfer. If you are not sensitive to baking soda, our Original formula goes on clear and works better for most people.

• If your deodorant cream looks grainy or has little balls of shea butter, that’s a normal response to temperature changes (often from shipping). It’s perfectly fine to use as-is — warming it against your skin will smooth it out. If you prefer a smoother texture, gently remelt it, stir well, and refrigerate briefly to cool quickly.

• Unrefined shea butter is traditionally processed over open fires, which gives it a naturally smoky scent. The strength of this scent varies from batch to batch and is completely normal.

Switching from conventional antiperspirant? If you’re switching from conventional deodorant or antiperspirant, your body may go through a short adjustment period as it adapts to aluminum-free deodorant. Many people notice no issues at all, while others may experience temporary changes in odor. This adjustment phase looks different for everyone and usually resolves on its own.

Note: Because this deodorant is made with natural oils and butters, it can soften in warmer temperatures and firm up in cooler ones. This is completely normal and doesn’t affect how well it works.

Does the refill work the same as the jar?
Yes. This is the same Extra Strength Sensitive Cream formula — the difference is simply the packaging. The refill is intended to be transferred into your preferred container for use.

Is this stronger than the Sensitive formula?
Yes. Extra Strength Sensitive contains a small amount of baking soda and provides stronger odor protection than Sensitive, while still being gentler than our Original formula.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes. This formula is designed for people who need low baking soda and contains no aluminum and no added fragrance.

Why is my cream grainy?
Graininess can occur when the shea butter cools slowly due to temperature changes, often during shipping. It’s normal and perfectly safe to use. The texture will smooth out as it warms against your skin, or you can gently remelt and stir it if you prefer.

Will I smell more when switching from antiperspirant?
Possibly. A short adjustment period is common and temporary as your sweat glands adapt. Odor typically normalizes within a few weeks.
